Stash operates on a zero-knowledge, local-first architecture. All files, text, and link data captured by the app remain exclusively on your Mac. No data is transmitted to our servers or third parties.

System Permissions

Stash request Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions to enable features like global hotkeys and OCR. These permissions are used locally by macOS and are never used for external monitoring.

No Analytics

We do not use any tracking or telemetry libraries. Your usage patterns are private and known only to you.
